Some background Hopefully you will find a few things of interest. Over time I hope to provide some content that will help people involved with the types of research that I have been undertaking for a few years, in particular measuring the accuracy of ecological models and conserving birds of prey. There are aslo some statistics notes - but these are not being updated.

Traigh Ghael beach on the Tireragan estate

Traigh Ghael beach is on the small estate managed by Highland Renewal. This is a beautiful wild place with internationally important species and habitats. You are free to wander but beware the tracks are rough, wet and often overgrown. It is not an easy place to walk, you will get wet feet and brambles can be a problem but you will be rewarded by the peace and the views.
