Brief History
Liverpool University studying for a BSc Botany and then a PhD in marine algal ecology. Picture above is me in the early 1970s at Portree harbour on the Isle of Skye. After my PhD, a job lecturing in Biology, Ecology and, later, Biostatistics and Conservation Biology. A year out in the 1980s at York University for an MSc in Biological Computation. In the early 1990s I became involved in eagle research in Scotland with Paul Haworth - still doing that but now retired from university lecturing.
Paintings
When I get time away from consultancy/research work I like to try and paint or draw. I have no distinct style but it makes me happy so I've decided to share some of them.
